Hi-Tek Sound and Signal, Inc. (HTSS), A Texas Corporation, was founded in 1984 in El Paso, TX to serve the growing demand for Fire Alarm Systems and Maintenance Services in the S.W. Texas and New Mexico Region for Government / Military Installation requirements and to offer a fresh, new option to a rapidly expanding Commercial and Industrial Market.

 

In 1999, at the invitation of Brown & Root, Inc. (our very satisfied Government Client in El Paso), we were selected to participate in a major Fire Alarm System installation / upgrade initiative for The Houston Independent School District (4th Largest ISD in the Country). Branch #2 - Houston, was in business and continues today to provide major vendor services and solutions to HISD and has expanded into core commercial markets serving Prime General Contractors, Major Electrical Contractors, Facility Owners  and Commercial Management Customers.

We are a licensed, quality provider of low-voltage alarm detection, notification and monitoring systems to the “core” institutional and commercial fire and security markets. Additional systems provided include access control - hardware and software, CCTV surveillance & recording solutions - analog and IP network video technologies, voice paging and nurse call systems.
